For over 10 years, I have taught full-time in Master's and Doctoral level counseling programs and identify as a parent, pet lover, and community advocate. I have had a private practice in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, for over 9 years and work with clients from around the region in person and online.
Authenticity and ethical best practices are important to me as both a counselor and person. Active professional service also is important to me in order to help clients and other stakeholders and advance mental health advocacy, as well as the counseling profession. Additionally, I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and several ACA divisions, including the Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities, the Association for Creativity in Counseling, the Association for Humanistic Counseling, and the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision. Lastly, I am a board-certified counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors and a member of Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic & Professional Honor Society International.
